Nigerian singer and actress Tiwa Savage has shared her experience dealing with the aftermath of her leaked adult tape, revealing the decisive action she took.
In an interview with Power 105.1 anchor Angie Martins in New York, Tiwa Savage recounted the distressing situation she faced in October 2021 when she became the target of blackmail over her private video.
The acclaimed Afrobeats artist disclosed that the leaked tape, which featured intimate moments with a former partner, was a source of significant concern for her as a mother.
According to Tiwa Savage, her primary concern was the potential impact it could have on her son, Jamil.

Addressing the issue publicly for the first time in three years, Tiwa Savage expressed her relief that she was able to take swift action to mitigate the situation.
She revealed that she had enlisted the help of an IT specialist to remove the video from the internet and from individuals’ mobile devices.
“My biggest fear about my sex tape leaking was that my son might one day see it,” Tiwa Savage said during the interview. “But I got in touch with an IT expert who hacked the video from the internet and everyone’s mobile device. Right now, you can’t find it anywhere. Even if you had it stored on your phone,” she added.
