In a revealing interview with Beats FM, Nigerian singer Tems hinted at being in a relationship. The conversation took an interesting turn when the interviewer asked about her thoughts on collaborating with fellow artist Asake. Tems praised Asake’s artistry and expressed her interest in working with him.
However, when prodded about any romantic feelings towards Asake, Tems laughed off the suggestion. She humorously told the interviewer they could have Asake, playfully hinting that she was already seeing someone. “Me? You can have him. I have my own”Tems also chose to keep details of her relationship private.
Recall that some months ago , Tems had reflected on her recent Grammy Award win. When asked if she carries her Grammy everywhere, she casually mentioned that it’s likely on a shelf somewhere. Tems had won a Grammy award for her song with future which went viral “Wait for you”. This song also featured a snippet of one of her previous song.
Also back in 2022, Tems had candidly shared her experiences of being financially strained back in 2022. Tems recalled times when she had to steal food or rely on her aunt for meals. She expressed that then she was extremely broke and did not know that she would attain the success that she had right now.
Tems also opened up about her self-esteem issues. She confessed to feeling unattractive and doubting her singing talent.
