Our aim #

We design TalkofNaija to be usable by everyone. We test pages with automated accessibility checks and keyboard use as we build, and we fix problems we find. We do not claim a formal certification.

Keyboard #

Every control can be reached with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline. On desktop, press “/” to search. In the video player: Space or K plays and pauses, M mutes, C toggles captions, F goes full screen.

Video and captions #

Captions are on by default when a video has them, and you can turn them off. Videos never play with sound until you choose. Some videos have transcripts.

Text, contrast and motion #

Text uses colour pairs chosen for contrast in light and dark themes, and pages work with browser zoom and larger text. If your device asks for reduced motion, videos do not play on their own and animations are minimised.

Known limitations #

Some embedded posts from other services may not meet the same standard. If you find a barrier, please tell us.

Report a barrier #

If something is hard to use, contact us and choose “Technical or account support”. Tell us the page, your device and any assistive technology you use.
