According to a news report recently published by Punch News, it was reported that the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State has stated that no amount of propaganda or fake endorsement by the state’s governor, Seyi Makinde, would prevent him from imminent defeat in Saturday’s governorship election.
Punch News also reported that a statement made by the Oyo State APC publicity secretary, Mr. Olawale Sadare, said that “the voters in the state should be wary of the antics of some merchants of lies and propaganda who are being sponsored by Governor Makinde and his agents to promote fake endorsement of the governor’s second term ambition with a view to misleading the electorate.” He said
Speaking further, he also said that “Seyi Makinde will be disappointed when INEC announces the governorship election results.”
“This is because he has clearly shown to the masses that he is selfish and corrupt by neglecting those who had assisted him in becoming a governor in 2019.” He said
He further added, saying that the APC administration is ready to restore the hope the present Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has stolen from them.
