Some unknown gunmen killed a Policeman on Thursday night, August 24, at Isiokolo, headquarters of Ethiope East local government area, Delta state after attacking Isiokolo Divisional Police station.
Another policeman was injured in the attack carried out by gunmen on motorbikes.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident, adding that the injured policeman was receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
Edafe said;
“No police rifle was stolen at the station. Some persons were shot at the Police station, one policeman died and another was hospitalised.”
