Police officer arrested for attempting to kill his colleague in Adamawa

The police in Kaduna state has arrested an officer, Inspector Moses Paul, for attempting to strangle his colleague, Inspector Simnawa Paul, while they were both on duty at the Police Mobile Force base of 62 Squadron Kafanchan on June 16.

 

The police in a statement released today June 26, said Inspector Moses Paul tried to strangle, using a rope, the neck of his unsuspecting colleague. The statement said the ”victim was however rescued by two other Police Officers whose attention were drawn by his cries.”

 

The police added that preliminary inquiries reveals the primary motive was in attempt to cart away Inspector Simnawa Paul’s rifle while the the remote cause of action will be ascertained at the end of the full scale investigation during which the culprit will be facing both disciplinary and legal proceedings.
