My family started Anglican Church in Nigeria but I worship ‘juju, I don’t go to church – Seun Kuti reveals (Video)

Popular singer, Seun Kuti has revealed to Nigerians that he doesn’t go to church as he practices in voodoo (juju).

The singer made the revelation in a recent episode of “Spill With Phyna” hosted by reality star, Phyna.

The Grammy-nominated musician revealed that the Anglican side of Christianity in Nigeria was founded by his family.

He noted that his family were part of the pioneers so they have practiced Christianity and they have moved on. He also hoped that Africans can follow suit.

When Phyna asked if he goes to church, Seun Kuti confirmed that he practices ‘juju’.

He said, “It was my family that started Anglican side of Christianity in this country, if you look back at it. We are among the pioneers. So, we’ve been there, we’ve done that and we’ve moved on. And we hope Africans can follow suit.

“I don’t go to church. Na juju me I dey do.”
