In a recent social media post, media personality and actor Uche Maduagwu didn’t hold back as he took a swipe at fellow actor Yul Edochie.
The drama unfolded after Yul Edochie made a public plea for his ex-wife May Edochie to return the bride price he paid when they tied the knot. Uche Maduagwu, however, wasn’t having any of it and let loose his thoughts on the matter.
Maduagwu criticized Yul for not comprehending the Igbo culture, suggesting that his rush to share such matters on social media demonstrated his ignorance. He further accused Yul Edochie of spiritual confusion.
Uche also Maduagwu questioned Yul’s concern about May Edochie dropping his last name before the divorce was finalized. He expressed that there is no legal obligation for a woman to relinquish her ex-husband’s surname, especially if she played a significant role in building his success.
Uche Maduagwu didn’t mince words, advising Yul to refrain from disgracing his father’s legacy with what he termed “spiritual ignorance.”
