Famous Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie condemns the circumstances of the late UniPort student who was unalived by her boyfriend allegedly for money ritual.
It would be recalled that Damian Okoligwe, a 400-level student of Uniport was paraded for dismembering his girlfriend, Justina Otuene Nkang.
Reacting to the story, Yul Edochie urged Nigerian youths to take it slow with their thirst for money and other material things. He added that those flaunting wealth on social media can be partly blamed for this.
He pressed on to argue that most supposed wealthy people on the internet are not actually as big as they are portrayed to be.
Yul, who is an alumna of the school insisted that grades should priority in school and not flashy lives and chase for material things.
“I saw a story about a young guy who killed his girlfriend and it really broke my heart. At that age, what you should be focused on is your grades and not this whole love for material things. Young people these days, slow down; all these material things don’t matter. Any car you see today driving you nuts, give it a few years, you won’t be able to look at it,” he said in part.
