Yoruba movie actress, Joke Ajadi has used her most recent Instagram post to hit out at people who are always of the opinion that successful female celebrities are being sponsored by men.
She took to her Instagram story to share the video, where she disclosed that whenever a female celebrity is successful, people always say it’s men that sponsor them.
She made it known that people who think that men are the ones sponsoring female celebrities are making it look like women are not working for themselves.
She stated that female celebrities like Tonto Dikeh, Yvonne Nelson, Linda Ikeji, and Toke Makinwa are working very hard and have become successful on their own without being sponsored by anyone.
In the statement she made in the video, she said, “Whenever a female celebrity is successful, people always say it’s men that sponsor them. People should stop this mentality of thinking somebody is somewhere sponsoring celebrities lifestyles, you guys are making it look like women are not working for themselves. The likes of Tonto Dikeh, Linda Ikeji, Toke Makinwa, and Yvonne Nelson have been working hard and have been making it on their own.”
