In a recent statement, controversial social media activist Adetoun has sparked reactions online as she opened up about her relationship with her husband Baba Ashabi.
After making headlines for allegedly speaking with Mohbad’s spirit and sleeping with his father’s corpse, activist Adetoun asserts that her husband has 87 girlfriends he was sleeping with when she met him.
Adetoun makes the revelation while featuring as a guest on the podcast #WithChude hosted by media personality Jude Chideonwo adding that one of her husband girlfriends used to be a highly dominated mermaid.
Speaking about her husband’s promiscuous way of life, activist Adetoun said that her hubby would say that he is looking for jobs for them even though he doesn’t have any recruitment centre.
Speaking on her battle with her husband’s way of life, Adetoun disclosed that many told her that the behavior is similar among men as they can’t change but she refused to accept that and by extension decided to work on him as a wife.
Adetoun noted that she went spiritual and took a step one after the other noting one of her husband’s 87 girlfriends is a mermaid who used to appear to him. She added that some of them came for revenge while fighting the battle.

ADETOUN: When I met him, he had 87 girlfriends.
CHUDE: Sorry, what? When you met your husband, he had 87 girlfriends, like girls that were his friends.
ADETOUN: The girls that he was sleeping with. Baba Ashabi will tell me that—let me even shock you—he will tell me that he is looking for a job for them. I said, ‘You who has no job , where is your recruitment center? Where are you looking for a job for them? You have left Lagos State; you are the one looking for a job for them.
Baba Ashabi! So when people tell me men can’t change, I tell them you haven’t experienced mine. I took it one step at a time. Spiritually, there was one who was a pure mermaid. This one will even come and appear to Baba Ashabi. There was a day we were supposed to travel together, and Baba Ashabi pleaded with the lady that he wouldn’t go with me but would come to meet her mother and plead with her. So, Chude, one after the other, I fought the battle. Some people came with revenge; he got me pregnant and said he wouldn’t collect it. Another one came and said she dated him for 15 years; another one will say I’ve been with him for twenty-something years…
ADETOUN: Because I realized I’m on an assignment in his life. He also struggled with it. If you send my husband a text message on his phone, I will receive the same message. If you chat with my husband, I will receive the same message. I took my time to understand what he had gone through.
