It is a sad time for fans, lovers, colleagues and family members of late Veteran Nollywood actor John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu as he is finally laid to rest.
Tontrends reported in March that the veteran actor, who had battle for his life for months, had kicked the bucket. The president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas confirmed the news as he revealed he died of Cardiac Arrest. His death threw the industry into mourning as he was the beloved of many and had made our childhood memorable.
On Wednesday, a night of tribute was held for the late actor, which had in attendance many of his colleagues. In photos making rounds online, the actor’s wife and her children were captured looking solemn as they bade their father farewell.
Today, June 27th, a burial ceremony is currently taking place in his hometown of Enugu State where the actor would be laid to rest. In clips and videos making rounds, people could be seen wearing a somber look as the actor is being laid to rest.
