“To New Beginnings”: Pastor Jimmy Odukoya presents his new wife to his church

Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, the senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church in Lagos, has remarried, and on Sunday he introduced his wife to the congregation as the church's new first lady.

At the service on 1 November at the church's headquarters in Ilupeju, he presented her as Pastor Mo Odukoya, BellaNaija reported, and the congregation responded with cheers and applause. He told the church he had been navigating life alone since becoming senior pastor and had been searching for someone to share the journey with, before inviting her to the altar. She then addressed the church and said she was honoured to join the ministry family.

A day earlier, according to Pulse Nigeria, Odukoya had shared a photo of two hands wearing wedding rings with the caption "To New Beginnings". Pulse also reported that Pastor Tunde Bakare, the General Overseer of Citadel Global Community Church, prayed for and blessed the couple.

BellaNaija names her as Mo Jasmine Daniel, the daughter of Reverend Theophilus and Bolaji Daniel. Pulse describes her as a designer and creative entrepreneur.

Odukoya became senior pastor in 2023 after the death of his father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, who founded the ministry with his late wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya. He is also an actor and musician, and played Oba Ade alongside Viola Davis in the 2022 film The Woman King.

Pulse reported that his first marriage, to Oluwakemi Banjoko in London in 2013, ended in separation.
