Oversabi Aunty is the No. 1 film on Netflix in Nigeria, according to the streaming service's official Top 10 chart for the week of 19 to 25 October 2026.
Netflix's chart lists the Nollywood comedy at the top of Nigeria's 10 most popular films, ahead of Evil Dead Burn at No. 2 and The Paradise at No. 3. It is the film's fourth week in Netflix's Nigeria Top 10.
It is the film's third week at No. 1 since it entered Netflix's Nigeria chart at the end of September; it slipped to No. 2 for one week in mid-October before returning to the top.
Before streaming, the comedy was a box-office record. FilmOne said in January that it had become the first Nollywood directorial debut to pass ₦1 billion, with ₦1,017,201,953 across West Africa, Arise News reported.
Netflix's title page describes Oversabi Aunty as a 2025 comedy, rated 13+. In the film, a church usher who corrects everyone around her causes chaos in her own family shortly before her daughter's wedding. The cast listed by Netflix includes Toyin Abraham, Mike Ezuruonye, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Eyinjuoluwa, Efe Irele and Bianca Ugowanne.
Netflix lists Toyin Abraham as the director. Distributor FilmOne has described the film as her big-screen directorial debut, and lifestyle site BellaNaija reported in October that she also wrote and produced it alongside FilmOne Studios.
