Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Mary Remmy Njoku is starting the year with a testimony after escaping death.
The wife of Iroko TV, Jason Njoku, revealed via her Instagram page that a few hours into 2024, she almost didn’t make it because she was involved in a major accident.
The mother of three stated that she still can’t believe how she escaped the accident, but she did because it wasn’t her time.
Expressing gratitude to her Maker, Mary revealed her New Year resolution as she promised to slow down and live life every day as if it were going to be her last. Reason is that one day she would be dead as life is too short to be anything but happy.
“Few hours to 2024. I almost didn’t make it. What could have been a major accident averted?
Still don’t know how I escaped it. But I did. It wasn’t my time. So ALMOST doesn’t count.
It’s 2024, and I am still here, thankful for Life. I will slow down and love life every day as if it were going to be my last. Cos one day, it will be. Just like 31st December, 2023.
Life is too short to be anything but happy. Grateful.
