An LGBTQ+ community known as Chronicles of our Rainbow has sparked reactions online as they jump on the trending “Of Course” challenge.
The “Of Course” challenge is one of the trending challenge on Video sharing platfrom TikTok just like the “I’m not the bride” challenge that took over the social media space months ago.
While LGBTQ+ communities are well know for not showing off themselves on social media, the new video of a Nigerian based LGBTQ+ community jumping on the “Of Course” challenge with no hesitation has garnered mixed reactions.
Note that the acronym LGBTQ+ stands for lesbian, gay, bi$exu@l, transgender, queer, questioning, inter$ex, a$exu@l, and the + holds space for the expanding and new understanding of different parts of the very diverse gender and sexual identities.
In the new video making the rounds online, they all stood up to introduce themselves in the “Of Course” challenge.
One said; “I’m a lesbian, masculine representing woman and of course always ask me, if I’m a footballer.’
Another one said; “I’m bisexual of course everyone think I’m a prostitute.”
A member uttered; “I’m a lesbian with kids of course people want to know how I got them.”
Another member spills; “I’m a trans man of course people want to know what is down there.”
One who classified herself as non-binary reveals; “I’m non binary of course, of course people want me to pick if I’m a man or woman but who cares..”
And more of the rainbow community members in Nigeria continued to describe themsleves adding that they don’t care about what people say about them.
