Notable Nigerian singer Chike has sparked emotional reactions online as he finally releases the official music video of his hit song with Mohbad dubbed “Egwu”.
One of the songs Mohbad released before he passed away on September 12 2023 was “Egwu” with Chike.
However, the song captured the hearts of music lovers and by extension generated massive replay value .
The nostalgia bop “Egwu” tops the Apple Music chat signifying the success of the song even though one of the singer’s has passed away.
Despite the fact that Mohbad is dead, Singer Chike deemed it fit to release the official music video of the song.
Singer Chike however didn’t make the “Egwu” music video all about himself as he uses the opportunity to pay tribute to the late Mohbad.
Sharing the snippet of the song on his verified Instagram page, Chike wrote; “It was tough but I am honoured to celebrate music and my friend @iammohbad with this visual… #Egwu 💡🕊.”
