A Nigerian man, Seye Dele, has said that people visiting couples who welcomed babies should give money to the fathers instead of the mothers.
“Unpopular opinion: it’s the father you should give the envelope of money when visiting a couple who just had a baby, not the mother.” he tweeted on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
