A 19-year-old guy identified as Okunola Victor has disclosed that he will be getting married to his 17-year-old girlfriend next year, despite the fact that many are against it.
While speaking to the Vanguard Newspaper, Victor said, “I’m Okunola Victor by name. I’m a native of Osun State and 19 years old, but I’ll be 20 next month. It was when I came down to Ibadan in 2020 that we met in the church; she was my church member, and we became friends at first. It was my first feelings I would be having for a girl, so I had to let her know.”
Further speaking, he said, “My girlfriend would be 18 by July. Age is just a number; it depends on how you were brought up. So for me, I have been doing many things myself, training myself, and doing a lot of things by myself at a young age.”
Speaking on what he does for a living, Victor said, I’m a baker,a fashion designer, I do collaborations with photographers to model pictures, and I go for outdoor services. I don’t think it is too early to get married.” He added, “I’m marrying my girlfriend next year.”
