Popular singer, Davido has shared his experience the first day he met Mavin boss, Don Jazzy.
Davido said he was left in awe after meeting the producer.
In a 24-hour exposé with storyteller, Tayo Aina, where he shared his story on how he got started with music, O.B.O acknowledged Don Jazzy as his mentor.
He said: “Just how you picked up your camera and started blogging, that’s just how it was for me. I just picked up a laptop and started going everywhere and showing people that, ‘Oh, I know how to….’
“My main strong point was that I knew how to engineer, I knew how to make beats. So, that way like my main strong point.
”From there, one of my cousins, Special used to work with MoHits. Them D’banj and the likes.
“So I just entered there and they liked my swag Young and chilling. And I knew work. And Jazzy was my mentor.
“I remember the first day I saw Jazzy, I thought I was looking at Jesus.”
