Gunmen abduct Plateau monarch

The paramount ruler of Mushere community in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau state has been abducted by gunmen.

The monarch identified as Joshua Mutkut was abducted at his palace in the locality on Sunday night.

Governor of the state, Caleb Mutfwang, confirmed the development on Monday. June 12, while appearing on a programme organized to celebrate Democracy Day in the state.
