“Finding the right partner is more important than just getting married” – Yemi Alade spills, gives important advice

Award-winning superstar singer, Yemi Alade has giving an important advice about marriage as she spoke out about the pressure from her family and friends to get married.

In an interview with Cool FM, Yemi Alade subtly debunked rumors that she had wedded her manager as she stated that she was single.

She noted how people tie the knot, especially during the end of the year, but she isn’t under any pressure to do so as she believes in the right time.

Yemi admitted that family pressure is a challenging thing to resist because it’s coming from people she respects and looks up to.

However, she believes if they genuinely love her, they will be patient as finding the right man is more crucial than just getting married.

In all, she doesn’t believe anyone should rush into making the wrong decision of being with the wrong partner.

“People often get married, especially towards the end of every year. I’m not feeling pressured. When the time is right, it will happen.”⁣

“Family pressure is a challenging thing to resist because it’s coming from the people I respect and look up to, insisting that I should get married.⁣

“However, I believe that if they genuinely have my best interests at heart, they will be patient with me because finding the right partner is more crucial than just getting married.⁣

“But beyond that, I don’t think anyone should rush into making the wrong decision of being with the wrong partner”.

Recall that reports made rounds thisyear that Yemi Alade had tied the knot with her longtime manager, Taiye Aliyu.

The singer, has over the years, been romantically linked with her manager, who she has been working with for over 6 years now.

According to reports, the two started dating around 2018 and decided to take their relationship to the next level and held a private introduction ceremony between both families.

Last year, the Johnny crooner evensparked pregnancy rumors with a teaser for her African Baddie video.

In the teaser video, Yemi Alade wore a black body hug outfit and whined about her waist but what caught the attention of many of her fans was her “baby bump-like” tummy in the video.
