Prominent social media personality, Tunde Ednut recently voiced his concern regarding the prolonged detention of activist, Verydarkman while calling for his release on bail.
In his statement, Ednut highlights the length of time VDM has been held in custody, expressing urgency for action to be taken.
He questioned the nature of the case, asking if it is not a civil matter, and sought clarification from legal experts.
Furthermore, Ednut pointed out the Easter holiday starting tomorrow, Friday, 29th which may hinder normal activities in the country.
He wrote:
“Jokes apart, they need to FREE VDM on bail or something… Since Friday last week Oo!
Tomorrow will make it one week.
Lawyer’s in the house, isn’t this a civil case?
Isn’t it and tomorrow, another holiday dey start for Easter.”
