Popular Nigerian nightlife king Cubana Chiefpriest has taken to social media to shower encomium of music mogul Don Jazzy after award-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid referred to be as an influencer.
It all started after Mavin Records signee, rapper Ladipoe mocked the struggles the Afrobeats artistes are recently passing through.
This reaction comes from Ladipoe comes following Wizkid statement in the year 2022 where he affirmed that “hip hop is dead.”
Mocking Afrobeats artistes, rapper Ladipoe wrote; Nigerians rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ watching Afrobeat artists go through their own”.
His post stirred massive reactions as a fan called the attention of Wizkid over Ladipoe’s statement.
The fan identified as @miracledc12 wrote; “Wizkid, Ladipoe still talk nonsense yesterday o, abeg enter that one too.”
Reacting, Wizkid via his verified page on X wasted no time to carpet Ladipoe and his boss Don Jazzy.
According to Wizkid, he will never chat with any artiste who is signed to an influencer. This means he won’t chat with someone like Ladipoe who is signed under Don Jazzy.
Wizkid wrote; “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer, next”.

However, the Wizkid statement where he referred to Don Jazzy as influencer after 20 years in the industry did not go down well with many.
Note that Don Jazzy is well known as a music producer, singer, CEO of Mavin Records boss. He is also well known for his philanthropic efforts over the years such as giveaways, promoting artistes, signing artistes, among others.
Upon sighting this tweet by Wizkid, Cubana Chiefpriest took to his verified X page to react.
According to Cubana Chiefpriest, no Don Jazzy slander would be tolerated as he will be forever respected.
The socialite added that Don Jazzy is a godfather and legend in the Nigeria entertainment industry.
Cubana wrote; “Don Jazzy you’re forever respected. Godfather and Legend 🫡❤️.”
