Popular Nollywood actress and film producer, Funke Akindele, has dedicated her new highly-anticipated movie, ‘A tribe called Judah’, to her late beloved mother, RB Adebanjo Akindele.
‘A tribe called Judah‘, premiered on Sunday, December 10, tells story of a family of 4 boys who decide to rob a small mall with the help of their mother.
However, Funke, who sadly lost her mom on February 7th, 2023, shared that a part of her mother is depicted in the movie.
The post read, “Like I said, a part of my mum is also in the movie. I didn’t know that she was going to pass on.”
“I didn’t even know that she was going to be sick when I wrote the story but it happened.”
“This movie holds a special place in my heart as it is dedicated to her memory.”
