A statement released by the spokesperson of the Lagos Police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, says the restriction of movement is only within Surulere and not across the state.

‘’This is to announce to the general public that during the bye-election scheduled for Saturday, February 3, 2024, there will be restriction of movement in the election area, Surulere Federal Constituency I only.

However, Funsho Williams Avenue will be free for passage only. Movement into and out of feeder roads off Funsho Williams Avenue will not be permitted.
