Zlatan asks if the Infected people don’t have family as covid-19 cases hit 10,162 with 287 deaths

Nigerians both online and offline are clearly not taking this Coronavirus pandemic serious like before when it started. Now, a small number of people in Nigeria go out putting on their face masks and sanitize.

Even Nigerians on the street of Twitter have turned the NCDC Twitter page to follow trains, instead of you seeing them crying and begging the God almighty for help, the only thing you see them doing and hear them saying is “follow me, i follow back”.

Lately, Nigerians have been taking the virus less serious with the claim that no one knows anyone who is infected with the deadly virus, saying the virus is not real in the country.

Today, NCDC updated the country with 10,162 new cases, 3007 discharged and 287 deaths.

While Nigerians were busy following themselves using NCDC’s tweet as an opportunity to do so, popular Nigerian artiste, Zlatan Ibile asked if the infected people don’t have family, “People way this thing dey kill for Naija no get family members” he tweeted.

What brought this type of question is probably because people disclose anything on the street and Coronavirus case is obviously something they wouldn’t love to hide.

In reaction to Zlatan’s tweet, many people claimed the virus is nothing close to realness in the country, saying the government and NCDC are deceiving themselves.
