A Twitter personality known as Obongrovial has shared his perspective on Zinolesky’s music.
He expressed that in the past couple of weeks and months, Zinolesky has tried making a comeback two times and he has failed. He also went on to express that it was sad for him to see such talent waste just like that.
He also revealed that Nigerians seem to have moved on from him and his “Oga”, Naira Marley. Now recall that back in September 12th, Mohbad had passed away after a friend had shared a video online of Mohbad in the backseat of a car. Following the confirmation of his death, new report has started to emerge that Mohbad had faced a series of emotional, mental and physical abuse in the hands of his former record label, Marlians Record.
To make things worse, report also emerged that Zinolesky had also been part of the crew that had abused him emotionally while he was alive and that at some point, Zinolesky had even betrayed him.
“Zinoleesky has tried making a comeback twice and failed. It’s sad to see such talent w sted like that. Nigerians have moved on from him and his Oga.”
Netizens naturally took to reacting very negatively against Zinolesky and the Marlian record label as a whole. Recall that Sound City, MTV Base and other major music channels in Nigeria yanked the two musical artists off their channels. A lot of Nigerians also swore to never play their songs again.
Zinolesky released his first single after the controversy back in December and at first, while it did climb up the Apple charts in the subsequent days following its release, it soon got swallowed by other songs pretty quickly. He also released his second song recently which has also gotten lost in the midst of new music.
Now recall that back in 2023, the police had issued an arrest for Naira Marley and Sam Larry who were directly involved in physically abusing Mohbad. However, after some detailed interrogations, the duo were released.
