According to a report by Vanguard, Pastor Jerry Eze, the Founder and Lead Pastor of Streams of Joy International, has cautioned young women against engaging in relationships with married men, warning that such actions have consequences.
Speaking during a sermon, Eze addressed the issue of infidelity and its repercussions.
He admonished women who engage in such acts, particularly those who participate in spiritual activities like fasting while simultaneously pursuing immoral behavior.
“And this is 2025,” he said. “You can’t be on a 21-day fast and you’re sleeping with other people’s husbands.”
“You can’t do that. I don’t like it. Don’t be a prayer point for another woman, and God help you the woman is on the altar of fire.”
The pastor shared the story of a young woman who, after a history of relationships with married men, faced a similar situation in her marriage.
According to him, the woman sought spiritual help after discovering her husband was involved with other women.
“She ‘did well’ with people’s husbands… and other people are ‘doing well’ with her husband,” Eze said.
He advised the woman to seek mercy through prayer, emphasizing that God’s forgiveness is always available.
However, he warned others against becoming the source of pain for another woman, as such actions often have long-term consequences.
Pastor Eze’s remarks have sparked conversations among his congregation and on social media, with many praising him for addressing a sensitive but important topic.
His message underscores the importance of integrity and faithfulness in relationships, while also offering hope and redemption for those seeking a second chance.
