‘You may not be able to take care of everyone around you, but let love lead’ – Comedian AY admonishes

Nigerian stand-up comedian, Ayo Makun better known as AY has shared a heartwarming advice via his Instagram page to the people who are feeling overwhelmed by Covid-19 pandemic.

The funnyman admonished that people shouldn’t think much on what they’ve lost during the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown, because there are very many other underprivileged individuals who have nothing talk more of losing it.

He continued that most people had always thought stay at home order by government is a punishment on the citizens without knowing that it’s one of the most important ways the health crisis can be contained.

Father of one however appreciates everyone who has sacrificed and rendered help to the people around, even though there no possibility of wrapping the hands over everyone, but with the small portion of the help offered, love can be allowed to lead.

He wrote;

“Whenever you think of those canceled trips, always remember that there are people with no place to go. When you think of the money you are losing due to the tumult of the pandemic on the economy, remember they are people with no source of income at all.

“When you settle in for quarantine at home remember that there are people with no homes. When you have the flexibility to care for your children, also remember that they are children out there going hungry with no meals.

“During this time that we cannot physically wrap our arms around each other, may God bless those whom have sacrificed in one way or the other in helping friends, families and those in need around them. You may not be able to take care of everyone around you, but let love lead.”
