WWE star John Cena says filming s3x scenes ‘is the worst’

WWE legend and actor John Cena has revealed one aspect of the film industry that he truly despises; filming s3x scenes.

During a recent appearance on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast with Shannon Sharpe, Cena candidly discussed his discomfort with these scenes, which he encountered during his role in Amy Schumer’s 2015 comedy “Trainwreck.”

The 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, known for his larger-than-life persona in the wrestling ring, admitted that shooting intimate scenes is far from glamorous. When asked by Sharpe if filming such scenes is difficult, Cena responded emphatically, “Yes!” He went on to explain that while it might seem like just two people on screen, the reality is far from it.

“Right now, you guys at home think it’s just us,” Cena said. “There’s a whole f****** world back there.” He described the experience as “really embarrassing,” noting that the presence of a full crew removes any sense of intimacy.

Cena shared that comedic sex scenes are particularly challenging because they require the actors to make the situation as awkward as possible, all while being watched by the entire crew. “It’s different,” he said, acknowledging that the reality of filming these scenes is nothing like what audiences might imagine.

Despite the awkwardness, Cena’s role in “Trainwreck” was part of a highly successful movie, which grossed $140 million at the box office. He also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn from Amy Schumer and director Judd Apatow, calling the experience valuable.
