Renowned Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, visited the Surulere and Makoko areas of Lagos for an outreach to kids in the neighborhood. This visit is in fulfillment of his commitment to donate 100 million naira for Christmas.
On Monday, December 11, the artist had previously pledged to contribute a sum of 100 million naira to children in various regions of the country for the Christmas celebration.
According to Wizkid, the sum of N100M is for the honour of his late mother Mrs Juliana Morayo Balogun who died on August 18th, 2023 in London.
Although the singer did not disclose the specifics of how the funds would be distributed, he has been observed in Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State, Nigeria, accompanied by his security personnel at different locations.
Nevertheless, video evidence collected from social media indicates that the singer has visited both Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State, Nigeria, today.
