Nigerian singer Naira Marley made his first statement hours after a Magistrate court cleared him and others from Mohbad’s death.
Tontrends reported on Tuesday that a Magistrate court sitting in Yaba, Lagos, had cleared Naira Marley, his aide Sam Larry, and Prime Boy from the death of Mohbad. The Magistrate said that they had no case to answer as regards the unfortunate demise of the late singer.
The court said it would prosecute the auxiliary nurse who injected him and one of Mohbad’s friends, Ayobami, for the offense of reckless and negligent acts.
Reacting to the news, Naira Marley, via his Twitter and Instagram page, shared verses from the Quran. One of the verses stated that anyone who puts their trust in Allah will be enough for him. Another verse noted how men conspire and plan against others, but Allah is the best planner.
“And whoever puts all his trust in Allah, he will be enough for him. (65:3).
And ‘remember, o Prophet,’ when the disbelievers conspired to capture, kill, or exile you. They planned, but Allah also planned. And Allah is the best of planners”.
