Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recently gave a stirring message of encouragement to Christians in a video that went viral on YouTube.
His words were delivered with conviction as he commanded the assembly to proclaim to their neighbours, “Whether the devil likes it or not, you will make it to Heaven.
That this proclamation is a prophetic promise for the faithful is what he stressed. His main point was that the convention is mostly a “in-reach” gathering, meant to encourage and uplift Christians who are already walking the walk.
I want you to tell your neighbour with all boldness that you will make it to Heaven regardless of the devil’s opinion, he says. You will reach Heaven regardless of the devil’s approval, therefore tell your neighbour about it. Although there will be some outreach activities during the conference, it is not an outreach in and of itself.
Dig quickly because the door will be opened, or because the entire world is watching through the media. Even non-Christians can watch the convention; it’s open to everyone. Those who are already travelling there are congregating. We come together to educate profound things, reflect on our past knowledge, support one another, rejuvenate, and fortify ourselves from the inside out.
