Colleagues, fans, lovers and families of late veteran actor John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu, gathered on Wednesday, June 26th, to pay their respects to the late actor.
Tontrends reported in March that the veteran actor, who had battle for his life for months, had kicked the bucket. The news was made known by a healthcare worker, where the actor was said to have kicked his last bucket. The president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas later confirmed the news as he revealed he died of Cardiac Arrest. His death threw the industry into mourning as he was the beloved of many and had made our childhood memorable.
On Wednesday, a night of tribute was held for the late actor, which had in attendance many of his colleagues. In photos making rounds online, the actor’s wife and her children were captured looking solemn as they bade their father farewell.
