We have to educate our children to become succesful – Emir Of Kano Sanusi


Former Emir of Kano and new caliph of the Tijaniyya sect in Nigeria, Muhammadu Sanusi II made spoken on his plans to join politics.

According to Muhammadu Sanusi II, he has no intention of joining politics. He made this disclosure on Thursday, June 17 in Kaduna. He said he will continue to educate the general public on the right candidates to give their votes to during elections.

He also stated that education, particularly for youngsters, should be prioritized before addressing the country’s problems.

Sanusi said;

“If we have those we trust who promised they will work for the betterment of the nation, then we can come together and help them – this is not politics.

“If we did not educate our children to become successful, while other people send their children to schools, they will end up working for those ones that attend school and that’s the end.”

In recent news, the Ex-Kano Emir’s son, Ashraf Sanusi urged Nigerians to place their priorities right and focus on the larger problems facing the country.

In a recent update on his Instagram story, cited scenarios that depicts how some Nigerians ignore their needs and go after their wants sharing examples such as worrying about Eko Atlantic when millions are dying from hunger.

According to him, a solid foundation is what is needed, if the essentials aren’t taken care of all our efforts to build new cities or be better people are akin to madness.
