Morocco football star, Achraf Hakimi and his mother, Saida Mouh, have become social media sweethearts following reports of him registering all his assets in her name.
A video making the rounds on social media platforms show the mother and son dancing together at a ceremony with family and friends.
The clip was recorded in January after he won the “Best Arab Sportsman” trophy at the Joy Awards ceremony in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but fans concluded that it was a celebration of the smart play against his wife, Hiba Abouk, who filed for divorce.
She expected to get half of his properties, unfortunately for the actress, she was left high and dry because Hakimi had been depositing 80 percent of his €1 million monthly salary into his mother’s account, which meant he was legally not worth anything.
She approached the court to seek the dissolution of their marriage however, when time reached for the property to be shared, it was discovered that he had no assets.
Hakimi who is worth €70 million, started dating his wife in 2018 when he was 19 years and she was 31.
The actress filed for a divorce after the PSG star defender had earlier been accused of raping a woman he invited to his matrimonial home when his wife and the family were in Dubai.
In the video, Hakimi held his mother’s hand as they took centre stage to dance and were being cheered by attendees.
When the Paris Saint-Germain star was done, he gave his mother a goodbey hug and left the dance floor.
