In a viral video, the actor expressed deep disappointment, specifically calling out the streamer’s interaction with Nigerian TikTok star Peller and the general portrayal of Lagos.
The “Peller Snub” and Industry Respect Awurum highlighted the interaction with Peller as a major point of contention. He argued that by “snubbing” one of Nigeria’s most prominent digital creators, iShowSpeed showed a lack of respect for the local creative community.
“You cannot come here and act like our own stars don’t matter,” Awurum suggested, noting that Peller’s massive following deserved more recognition during the streamer’s stay.
