Grammy Award winner Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has captured the attention of many social media users following his handling of the situation at a recent show in Abuja.
In the clip making the rounds online, Wizkid, the “Essence” crooner shows some love to fan who run up on him on stage in Abuja while he was performing.
This is coming days after Grammy Award winner Burna Boy made headlines as he kicked off an overexcited fan who jumped on him and then later walks offs the stage.
While Wizkid was performing in Abuja, the fan breached security protocol, and managed to reach for Wizkid’s leg, however, the bodyguards managed to prevent the fan from further action and dished the fan away from the page.
Moment later, Wizkid tells the overexcited fan to come back on stage as he hailed him over his courage to come on stage. Wizkid says “Where is that guy, bring him back on stage, you don tear my trousers, bring that guy back on stage, bring him back on stage, one love, one love, bring him back on stage.”
Wizkid put his arm around the fan shoulder, then later said he gets so much love for him and that was just the beginning as they keep walking together on stage.
As of this moment, the fan was already in an emotional stage as he could be seen crying as he never expected such kind gesture from the singer.
He promised to give the fan something that is very solid after the show then later tells the show organizers to give the fan some water and champagne.
