In a recent post on Facebook, Pastor Faith Oyedepo, wife of Bishop David Oyedepo and co-pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners’ Chapel), has emphasized the importance of attending church in person, rather than relying on online services.

In a recent message, Pastor Faith underscored the spiritual and communal benefits of physical presence in church, calling it irreplaceable.

“There is nothing like being physically present in Church,” Pastor Faith stated, addressing the growing trend of online worship. While acknowledging the convenience of digital platforms, she made it clear that watching services online should not become a substitute for attending Sunday services. “Do not sit at home watching online service. Be present in Church on Sunday!” she urged.

Pastor Faith highlighted the significance of corporate worship, fellowship, and active participation in the life of the church community. According to her, there are unique blessings and encounters that come with being in the house of God that cannot be fully experienced through a screen. “The atmosphere in the sanctuary, the power in collective prayers, and the strength in fellowship are unmatched,” she added.

According to her, “There is nothing like being physically present in Church. Do not sit at home watching online service. Be present in Church on Sunday.”
