“The pain was so much” – Mercy Aigbe recounts how she battles with severe eye infection while shooting her new movie ‘Thin Line’ (Photos)

Renowned Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe has taken to her social media page to reveal her struggles and health challenges while filming her latest blockbuster movie, ‘Thin Line.’

Mercy Aigbe, known for her stunning beauty and unique acting prowess, stated that she was diagnosed with a severe eye infection and landed in hospital.

In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she shared that she woke up one morning on set with swollen eyes, unable to continue filming.

Mercy shared that the journey of creating this movie has been quite an experience, filled with numerous challenges during filming, but she remains grateful to God. She emphasized that the project demanded immense effort, involving pain, sacrifice, and relentless hard work.

Sharing photos of herself with swollen eyes, she wrote, “Throw back to the set of THINLINE , i woke up one morning on set and my eyes were like this! We couldn’t film, we had to break set, the pain that came with this was excruciating, i was hospitalized, infact it was a whole lot challenge! Doctors said it was a severe infection.. it was a whole lot!!!!! A whole lot!!!!”

“It’s been an experience on this journey with THINLINE, a whole lot of challenges, a whole lot, but in all i still GIVE GOD THE GLORY 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. In all these i am still standing and will keep pushing 👊👊. Someone actually said to me that Aunty Mercy all these challenges is it in anyway related to the Story you told in THINLINE and i said i don’t think so oh ! 😂. This movie has taken a lot of Hardwork, Pains, Blood and Sweat! Big Thank You to everyone who has seen THINLINE in cinemas and i am loving the reviews so far! 🙏❤️.”

It is worth noting that Mercy Aigbe’s ‘Thin Line’ is one of the best Nollywood movies premiered today, December 20.
