Popular fashion designer Veekee James and her husband Femi Atere threw a lavish party on Monday, February 10, to mark their first wedding anniversary.
First, she took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion, posting stunning pictures from their recent photoshoot. In her caption, she reflected on their wedding one year ago and their journey so far, emphasising her unending commitment to him. She wrote;
“1 year ago on this day, we stood before God and swore our commitments to each other. 1 year later, we have not just upheld each other’s side of those vows, we have done it with so much Grace and Devotion! You Ayomi, are life’s best gift to me and I will love and cherish you for as long as God allows me🙏🏼 Happy Wedding Anniversary baby❤️ Let’s go get ready to party💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻.”
Asides the photos, the couple had a classy banquet with their intimate friends and family like Simi, Spyro, Diary of a Kitchen Lover, Folagade Banks, Tomike Adeoye and many more.
A video captured the massive cakes, expensive interior designs with family and friends who gathered to celebrate with the couple.

To top the icing on the cake, skitmaker and singer Nasboi who attended the party as the MC surprised Veekee James and her husband with a live performance from Teni.
A clip showed Veekee James jumping in excitement after Teni made a grand entrance as she performed her new song ‘Money’, Billionaire and more. The guests were also very thrilled to see Teni perform her hit songs and danced to the rhythm. In a caption of the video, Veekee James wrote:
