Nigerian musician, Olumuyiwa Olofinkuade Olajide popularly known as Jazzman Olofin has criticized those constantly sharing the list of people that popular Afrobeat icon, Davido has lost since 2017.
It would be recalled that Davido lost his 3-year-old son a few days ago and since the news broke out, some people on social media started sharing the list of people the artist has lost to the cold hands of death in 5 years, probably to taunt him.
Reacting to the act, Jazzman Olofin in a post on Facebook, Knocks those engaging in the act and urged them to them stop because it is insinuating and mischievous.
He urged those posters to give Davido and his family breathing space if they truly care, so he and his family can mourn and heal quitely till the dark cloud blows over.
“Constantly posting lists of people Davido has lost since 2017 makes no sense.
What’s the point? To indirectly suggest death surrounds him?
Or is this the price for being great? Many poor ordinary people are out there losing their close friends and family members every damn day but nobody writes about them or posts them because they are unknown, they are nobody.
We’ve had enough of you posting these distracting lists on your blogs and pages ( which I find insinuating and mischievous anyway) If you care about Davido then give him and his family respectful space & silence to mourn and heal quietly till the dark cloud blows over.
