Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to increase the security officers and plans for churches in the North-Eastern part of the country.
The former lawmaker expressed that insurgent groups in the region are targeting churches and it may ultimately lead to religious crisis in the country.
The former lawmaker expressed that the situation of things in the region now demands Special protection for worship centres or their private guards are allowed to bear arms.
