A video showing the emotional moment a lady did a make-up for her mother who just passed away has surfaced online and by extension sparked reactions online.
In the video making the rounds online, the lady identified as Asia Simone on Instagram who is a make-up artist raises eyebrows as she did make-up for her mother who is laid to rest inside a casket.
While many could not stand their mother’s death face to face, the lady was applauded by many social media users for the way she made up for her mom while inside a room solely with her.
The clip of the lady doing make-up for her late mother inside the casket was a combination of sorrow and joy and at the end of the day, she was able to glam the face of her late mother with her skills.
The lady beautifies the face of her late mother inside the casket, then later closes it and is passed inside a car.
Captioning the video, she wrote;
“To my Mother, The strength I get from you is impeccable. If it wasn’t for you and your guidance I don’t know where I’d be as a woman. Your love and faith truly kept me going all my life. You made me the mother I am but this day you made me a real woman. You even made me the makeup artist I am (taking my makeup in middle school). I just wanna thank you for allowing me to be your mirror as you’ve went off to your resting place. It’s an honor to look like you but a even bigger honor to fill your shoes and keep your legacy going. For every lesson, moral, and value I promise to never forget who I am and what I stand for. I’ll always be a reflection of the woman you were on this earth. It’s been my honor to get you ready for your last walk.. this isn’t goodbye mommy but I’ll see you later. I can’t wait for the day you and God are able to say well done. I love you forever.. I’ll always be your mirror mommy💙 Get your rest.”

jacquelinedorner: My mom passed in 2000, and I did her makeup. She was 80. I’ll always remember the smell of embalming fluid. Her body felt icy, cold, and hard. It was the hardest thing for me to do, but nobody knew my mom like me and how she wore her makeup. I will forever cherish this memory. R.I.H. MOM ❤️.
