Senate President Lawan visits Ekweremadu after Germany Incident

Senate President Dr Ahmad Lawan on Monday paid a solidarity visit to former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, who was assaulted by members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) in Nuremberg, Germany on Saturday.

The Senate President visited the former Deputy Senate President in the company of the immediate past minister of labour, Dr Chris Ngige, at his Abuja home.

Dr Lawan has described the barbaric attack as shameful. He also used the medium to urge the German authorities to identify those involved in the despicable act so that the law can take its course against them.
