Nigerian Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka has cried out over the increasing deplorable situation of the Nigerian education sector.
Prof. Soyinka made the assertion during the presentation of a play entitled: ‘Folly of Men’, at the University of Lagos on Sunday, as part of activities commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Government College, Ibadan.
Responding to questions from journalists at the event, Soyinka noted that the education system is horrifying, adding that it is at a really low level. The playwright lauded the GCI Old Boys Association for organizing the programme and also intervening to resuscitate the infrastructure at their alma mater.
Meanwhile, Reno Omokiri, a former aide to the ex-president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to the assertion of Nobel laureate Professor about the deplorable situation of Nigerian education sector.

Speaking further reno asked Buhari to name a school he had built as the president of the Nation.
