A tech enthusiast, going by the pseudonym “Tech bro,” has stirred up controversies as he alleges that rising Nigerian music star Rema was involved in online fraud, commonly known as being a “yahoo boy.”
Astonishingly, according to Tech bro’s claims, Rema was even able to purchase a luxurious Lexus SUV for his mother at a mere 17 years old.
The “Tech bro” claims that at the age of 17, Rema acquired land and other possessions, but she was asked to decide between switching to music and carrying on with her fraudulent activities.
He continued by saying that Rema finally chose music, and that decision has helped him ever since.
In reaction, the online community has been left stunned, with many questioning the veracity of the claims.
@fahdil_Dagold: “Rema fit sue this guy cos he has no Prove of where he was doing yahoo. This can be tagged as libel. Becareful of what you do all in the name of content…you’re passing the right message in an inappropriate way.”
@obumszn: “Ya’ll find it hard to accep the truth, i see no lie in this video and i believe it 100%. How in the mickey mouse clubhouse can a 17 year old buy a land and a car without any reasonable source of income. ya’ll should stop talking and start thinking.”
@charles_alewi: “What is the difference between both… Except that one is more legit and give one peace of mind than other.”
