Ghanaian rapper Patapaa was known in real life Justice Amoah was involved in a highway robbery on Monday, May 27, 2019. Patapaa and his team were recently attacked by armed robbers on the Kasoa-Winneba road.
According to the manager of the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker, it took the help of the police to save them from the hands of the robbers.
Patapaa’s manager, Freebody narrated the incident in which they could have lost their belongings.
He revealed that the robbery incident occurred after the team got back from Ho and was heading to Agona Swedru around 11 pm.
In his narration, Freebody confirmed that some of the cars ahead of them were also stopped by the robbers.
He noted that the armed robbers had stopped a lot of cars including theirs as they began to rob from car to car.
Freebody added that it was for the timely intervention of the Kasoa-Winneba highway police that they were saved.
Patapaa’s manager added after the police rushed to the scene to restore sanity, they were escorted to Agona Swedru.
After the incident, Patapaa took to Facebook to thank the Winneba police patrols for their quick intervention that saved his life.
‘‘Thanks to Ghana Police Service Winneba Patrols to be precise for the rescue tonight, concerning a robbery incident on the Kasoa – Winneba Highway,” he wrote.
“Thank God for our lives and sorry to those whose cars and money were taken… Being alive is the most important thing,” he added.
