Nigerian singer, Iyanya and actor, Pere Egbi have shared words of encouragement with reality TV star, Mercy Eke following her viral lamentation.
The Big Brother Naija “Pepper Dem” winner had said that she abandoned by her friends when she needed them to support her during the All Stars edition.
According to the 33-year-old, all she wanted was to become more successful and that’s why she returned to the popular show.
Speaking in an interview on Hero’s Therapy with media personality, Hero Daniels, Mercy said she did not receive support from any of her friends and it was only her fans that rallied behind her.
In reaction to her statement, Iyanya said it is not a crime for someone to want more for themselves career-wise.
“Hey Mercy. Wanting more is not a crime, keep pushing, people don’t like themselves and they will never want to see another person doing well. Stay strong,” he said.
The only crime I committed was wanting more …
